UPDATE I have found a way to run the issue without displaying the UAC popup using Windows Task Scheduler on the PC. (Reference: ) But, I don't think it's possible to run this as a shortcut from Steam itself. The Task Scheduler shortcut is on my desktop, and it will run on the PC, with no problems, and with no UAC popup. But trying to run this shortcut C: Windows System32 schtasks.exe /RUN /TN 'BullyNoUAC Bully' from Steam does not work. It simply will open schtasks.exe. UPDATE 2 I found a post on the Steam Forums explaining that UAC will lock you out of input on the Steam-Link.

The only known fix as of now is to completely disable UAC. If anyone has any better ideas. I would love to hear them. I have encountered a problem while trying to play Bully: Scholarship Edition.

There is a well-known issue with the game, where it will crash randomly while playing. A common fix is to run the game in XP SP3 compatibility mode.

This seems to work pretty well while playing on the PC. But the UAC popup locks me out of the game while trying to play on the Steam-Link. If I accept the popup on my PC and try to regain control of the application again, Steam-Link refuses to register any controller inputs (Including the 'Steam Menu' button), even though it seems to work fine from the PC controller. When I run the game without compatibility mode, the game runs fine (except for intermittent crashing) on the Steam-Link. So, I tried running an XP virtual box. There are several issues with this fix, but the main one is that Bully does not run at all. It gives me the error, 'Bully requires a 32 bit display, and vertex and pixel shader model 3.0 support.' I'm not exactly sure what that means.

I'm running a 32-bit version of Windows XP SP3. I can try running Windows 7 as a VM. Or maybe, there's a better fix for the crashes of the game natively. That would be perfect.
